Accessibility statement

Hashting is committed to digital accessibility for everyone, including people with diverse abilities. We keep improving the experience and apply the relevant accessibility standards across all our digital properties.

Last updated: July 11, 2025

Scope of this statement

This statement applies to all digital properties managed by Hashting, including our main corporate website, our dynamic campaign platforms at hashting.promo and hashting.cash, and all white-label domains we host for our clients.

We are committed to ensuring that all our platforms, including those customized for our clients, meet the same high accessibility standards. A list of client domains covered by this statement can be provided upon request through our feedback channels.

Measures to support accessibility

Hashting takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our platform:

  • Include accessibility as a core component of our design and development processes.
  • Ensure sufficient color contrast for text and user interface elements.
  • Use semantic HTML and WAI-ARIA attributes for correct interpretation by screen readers and other assistive technologies.
  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
  • Employ a combination of automated and manual accessibility quality assurance methods.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (opens in a new tab) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for users with diverse needs. They define three levels of conformance: level A, level AA and level AAA.

Hashting is committed to conforming to WCAG 2.1 level AA. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines. While we strive to adhere to these guidelines, it is not always possible in all areas of the website, particularly with content from third parties. We continually seek out solutions that bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

Hashting is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)
  • Voice recognition software
  • Keyboard navigation
  • Browser zoom functionality up to 200%

Hashting is compatible with:

  • Recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Mobile browsers on iOS and Android

Technical specifications

Accessibility of Hashting relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

  • HTML
  • WAI-ARIA
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts, there may be some limitations. We are aware of areas where we can improve and we are actively working to address them. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known issues

  • Third-party integrations: some third-party widgets and integrations may not be fully accessible. We work with our partners to encourage and support their accessibility efforts.
  • Dynamic content: some dynamically loaded content may not be immediately announced by screen readers. We are implementing proper ARIA live regions to address this.
  • Complex data visualizations: some charts and graphs may be difficult to interpret for users of assistive technology. We are working to provide comprehensive alternative formats and descriptions.
  • Gamification experiences: our interactive gamification sites involve complex animations and interactions that may present challenges for some assistive technologies. We are improving these experiences and providing accessible alternatives where possible.

Assessment approach

Hashting assessed the accessibility of our platform by the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation using automated accessibility testing tools.
  • Manual testing with keyboard-only navigation.
  • Manual testing with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA).
  • Ongoing review during our design and development phases.
